The Booth Western Art Museum, Cartersville, GA

AWA is gearing up for its 2020 museum exhibition which will be hosted by The Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville, Georgia. This is the fourth year of our 25 in 25 campaign; an initiative to have 25 museum exhibitions in 25 years. This is the first year that we will award a $10,000 First Prize. The Booth is a museum dedicated to the Western United States and is the only museum of it’s kind in the Southeast. The exhibition will have approximately 110 works including paintings, drawings, and sculptures. Artworks are not required to have a Western-theme. Mixed media collage and textile, as well as abstractions are also encouraged.

Important dates:

Accepting submissions November 1, 2019 – January 20, 2020

Finalist will be announced February 4, 2020

Artworks due to arrive at The Booth April 9 – 23, 2020

AWA events at The BOOTH May 27-30, 2020

Exhibition dates May 23 – August 23, 2020
