Bio:

Ginger always wanted to be an artist but was unable to obtain any serious art education until her early thirties. She has since continued her quest for excellence. Her work has been featured from Maui to New York, is published in three art books, and is featured in articles in International Artist and Southwest Art magazines.

Artist's Statement:

I am currently painting humans and animals to capture the essence of them; I love color very much and sometimes paint still lifes that speak to me, and I’m equally enamored with disappearing landscapes and painting outside.

Longing to say something with my life and convey my message through oils, watercolor, and mixed media, I want to leave traces of myself through art which will outlast me. I feel so blessed to spend my life doing something I love so much

Winning the Purchase Award has such enormous significance for me, it’s every artist’s dream to be in a museum and my work, Lee’s Ferry Landing, will be at the Tucson Desert Art Museum for as long as I live. I’m so thankful to the American Women Artists for that opportunity.”
