About the Online Show

This is American Women Artists’ annual online juried competition. It is open to all levels of AWA membership, with competition within and across categories. In addition to 23 cash awards – including a $2,000 cash Grand Prize award – 160 works selected will appear on AWA’s online gallery for a full year, be featured in our monthly E- newsletters, and promoted through AWA’s social media channels. AWA is dedicated to providing professional opportunities for women in the visual fine arts.

• Grand Prize Overall $2,000 cash award
• Second Prize Overall $1,500 cash award
• Third Prize Overall $1,000 cash award
• AWA President’s Award funded by AWA President Janet Lee $500 cash award
• Kathleen J. Smith Humanity in Art Award funded by AWA Board member & Master Signature member Angela Mia and her family $500 cash award
• The Power of the Feminine Award funded by Katherine Leach for representation of an empowered woman $500 cash award
• Christine Drewyer Award of Distinction funded by former AWA President & Master Signature member Christine Drewyer $300 cash award

• (4) First Prize Awards by AWA Membership Category $500 cash each for first place in Associate/Associate with Distinction/Signature/Master Signature levels

• (6) Outstanding Achievement Award (Abstract, Still Life, Landscape/Cityscape, Figurative, Animals, and Sculpture) $250 cash award

• (6) Award of Merit $100 cash award
