We are pleased to announce AWA’s fifth museum exhibition, at the Booth Western Art Museum, as part of the 25 in 25 campaign; an initiative to have twenty-five museum shows for our women artist members over the next 25 years. The Booth Museum is a prestigious museum in Cartersville, Georgia, with one of the country’s largest collections of Western Art. This exhibit will have 110 2-D and 3-D works in the style and theme of the artist’s choosing; 2-D works are limited to 40″ on the longest side, 3-D works are limited to 200 lbs. (no size limit). The museum is not requiring Western-themed art.

In addition to over $25,000 in cash and merchandise awards, final works selected will appear on AWA’s website gallery, be featured in our monthly e-newsletters, and promoted through AWA’s social media channels. AWA is dedicated to providing professional opportunities for women in the visual arts. We invite you to join AWA as an Associate Member and enter our national juried exhibitions.

The Booth Western Art Museum application period runs from November 13, 2019 through January 20, 2020, at 5 pm PST. All AWA Members (except Heritage Circle) are required to jury into the show. Finalists will be announced February 4, 2019 on AWA’s blog page.  AWA will post a link to the application in the coming weeks.
