Master Signature Member Kirsten Kokkin

has created a number of monuments, both public and private commissions. Her works span from the tradition of romantic expressionism to naturalism. She has sculpted themes from the marine world and has a long career as a portrait artist. Kokkin’s artwork is placed all over the world, with the majority of pieces in the U.S and Norway.

Working in a traditional style, Master Signature Member Sherry Blanchard Stuart paints with a richness of color that illuminates the intensity of sunlight upon her varied subject matter. Although she paints figures, landscapes, and still lifes, the majority of her work has western and equine subjects. She is greatly inspired by the history and tradition of the American West.

 

Sherry’s work is in the permanent collections of the Tucson Museum of Art, the Desert Caballeros Western Museum in Wickenburg, Arizona, the Phippen Museum in Prescott, Arizona and the Great Plains Art Museum in Lincoln, Nebraska. Her work has been displayed in many juried and solo exhibitions across the nation and can be found in private and corporate collections worldwide.

Horsepower by Bonnie Conrad

Congratulations to Signature Member Bonnie Conrad on the acceptance of Horsepower (left) in the 2011 Oil Painters of America Show.

 

Award winners at the recent Outdoor Painters’ Society Plein Air Southwest show included Signature Member Kaye Franklin (Best Group of Work), Signature Member Judy Crowe (Honorable Mention) and Master Signature Member Nancy Boren (Honorable Mention).  

 

Master Signature Member Donna Howell-Sickles recently celebrated the one year anniversary of her gallery, Davis & Blevins, The Main Street Gallery, in St. Jo, Texas. The next show scheduled will be one of still life paintings, “Still of the Summer,” opening June 18.

 

Master Signature Member Joy Beckner’s Dreaming of Tomatoes, earned the Gold Medal of Honor in the 68th Annual Exhibition of The Audubon Artists, Inc., NY.
Beckner’s Big Heart has been accepted by the National Sculpture Society for their 78th Annual Exhibition at Brookgreen Gardens, SC.
